Bill and Betsy Marzinzik started Bouquet Construction Co. in 1975 after years of working in the construction industry. Bill cut his teeth working on large scale commercial projects (the construction of the 210 freeway and the construction of public works project along the 395 corridor from Lone Pine to Mammoth Lakes). Bouquet Construction’s first projects were commercial development such as the large A-Frame signs at Marina Del Rey or the Condor Cage at the Los Angeles Zoo. As the 80’s approached, the funding for commercial projects in Southern California dried up so Bill decided to spend more time working locally in the residential and smaller scale commercial industry. To date, we have completed over 3,000 projects and have worked on virtually every street in every neighborhood in Santa Clarita. We have constructed the block walls and community pools for most of the local developments (Northbridge, Northpark, the Summit, the Woodlands, Westridge, etc.) and many of the local monument signage in and around Valencia. Although Bill has passed the torch to his son Curtis, he remains an integral part of the day to day operations.
